Important questions to ask yourself: Are people living in my home that aren’t on my policy?  If I let someone drive my vehicle, are they covered?  If so, do my limits drop down to state minimum?  Is a $500 or $1000 deductible better for me?  Are those new 20” rims covered?  A new law in California went into effect that requires insurance companies to download policy status with the DMV and your registration can be suspended if your policy lapses.  So look for a carrier that is flexible with billing  grace periods.
